SavvyGolf, operated by Pierian Technology Solutions LLC, provides SMS text message notifications to golf league members who have opted in. Messages communicate event reminders, event cancellations, league announcements, and score/results notifications for the leagues you belong to.
SMS messaging is strictly opt-in and disabled by default. To receive SMS notifications, a member signs in to their SavvyGolf account at savvygolfleague.com, opens their profile, and on the Notifications tab checks the box next to the following consent statement:
“By checking this box, you agree to receive SMS notifications from SavvyGolf about your golf league activity — including event reminders, cancellations, announcements, and score updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.”
No SMS messages are sent unless the member has checked this box and provided a valid mobile phone number in their profile.
SMS consent is standalone. This consent applies only to receiving SMS messages and is not bundled with any other agreement. Accepting our Terms of Service, accepting our Privacy Policy, creating an account, joining a league, or paying for a subscription does not grant SMS consent. SMS consent is granted only by checking the dedicated SMS opt-in box described above, and may be revoked at any time without affecting any other agreement. Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition of using SavvyGolf or of purchasing any service.
Messages include event reminders, event cancellations, league announcements, and score/results notifications. Message frequency varies based on league activity, typically 2–4 messages per week per recipient during the active league season and fewer in the off-season. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Phone numbers provided for SMS notifications are stored securely and used solely for sending the SMS notification types described in Section 3. We do not sell, share, or use phone numbers for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to delivering these SMS notifications.
